I love the challenge of Idaho hunting. My sons and hunting buddies will tell you I move too slow—I’m a methodical hunter who believes the best intel isn't found at 4 MPH. It’s found by sitting still, glassing the 'un-glassable' spots, and knowing that the next ridge always has a story to tell.

My kids joke that I’m 'old and out of shape,' but they usually stop laughing when I’m the one who spots the elk first.

The 2025 Highlight: This past season was really fun. I helped an out-of-state friend of 20+ years take his first buck, and I was there to see my son and another very good local friend harvest some great Idaho bulls. We saw multiple bulls every single day because we did the homework. That’s the feeling I want for you.
